However, the error codes of Siruba sewing machines can waste a lot of your precious time if you don’t know what those error codes mean and how to solve them.
In this guide, we will tell you about the common Siruba sewing machine error codes, why they are caused, and what you can do to fix them.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E01 (overvoltage)
Cause of error:
The error code E01 appears when there is an over-voltage. It means that your sewing machine is receiving more voltage than it needs.
Solution:
Turn off your sewing machine.
Check if the input voltage supply is normal or not.
If the input voltage supply is higher than the normal voltage, you need to check the main cause of it. See if the power supply of your sewing machine is fine. Try replacing the control box.
Sometimes, over-voltage happens due to problems in the power grid of your area. In such cases, the city authorities will fix it within some time. You can ask your neighbors if they are also experiencing over-voltage or not.
But if the over-voltage is happening only in your house, you need to call an electrician and check what is wrong.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E02 (low voltage)
Cause of error:
The error code E02 appears due to low voltage. It means that your sewing machine is not getting the voltage it needs to work normally.
Solution:
Shut down the sewing machine and check the input voltage supply.
If the input voltage supply is lower than the normal voltage, try replacing the control box.
Check if the power supply of your sewing machine is in proper condition.
Another case might be that the power grid of your area is generating low voltage for all the consumers. If that’s the case, alert the relevant authorities about it.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E03 (CPU communication error)
Cause of error:
The error code E03 appears due to a CPU communication error. It means that the CPU of your sewing machine is unable to communicate with other machine parts or the communication is faulty.
Solution:
Turn off the sewing machine and check if the operation panel has a bad connection or it is too loose.
After fixing it, turn on the sewing machine and check for errors. If you still see the error code E03 then replace the control box and contact the customer care service of SIRUBA sewing machines.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E05 (abnormal speed control unit connection)
Cause of error:
The error code E05 appears due to an abnormal speed unit control connection. It mostly happens due to problems in the power supply or problems in the speed control unit connector.
Solution:
Turn off the sewing machine.
Check if the speed unit connector has a bad or loose connection. If it does, fix it and restart the sewing machine. The error should have gone.
If the error code E05 appears again, you will have to replace the speed control unit of your sewing machine.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E07 (motor locked rotor)
Cause of error:
The error code E07 occurs due to the motor locked rotor. This problem happens due to a couple of reasons like abnormal voltage supply, motor & encoder in bad condition, and mechanical failure.
Solution:
Rotate the handwheel of your machine to check if it is stuck or moves. If the handwheel is stuck, you can rule out mechanical failure.
But if the handwheel is normal and moves when you rotate it then check if the connection of the motor and encoder is not too loose or in bad condition. If it is, then get it fixed.
However, if the connection is also fine, you should check the sewing speed and input voltage supply. If the sewing speed is too high then adjust it accordingly.
In the end, if nothing works, you can replace the control box or contact customer care service.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E09 and E011 (positioning signal error)
Cause of error:
The error codes E09 and E011 indicate a positioning signal problem. It occurs due to a bad connection of the encoder or a malfunction in the control box.
Solution:
Shut down the sewing machine.
Check the connection of the encoder and make sure that it is not too loose or in bad condition. If it is, you should fix it and then restart the sewing machine.
If the problem persists then you need to replace the control box or visit a qualified technician.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E14 (encoder signal error)
Cause of error:
The error code E14 is displayed when there is an encoder signal problem in your sewing machine.
Solution:
Shut down the sewing machine.
Check if the motor encoder connector is too loose or in bad condition. If it is then you need to fix the problem. After fixing the connector, turn on your sewing machine and check for errors.
If the error code E14 appears again, you will have to replace the motor of the sewing machine.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E15 (abnormal over-current protection)
Cause of error:
The error code E15 is displayed when there is abnormal over-current protection in the power module.
Solution:
Remove the power supply of your sewing machine, wait for a few seconds, and then restart the machine.
If the error code appears again, replace the control box or visit a qualified technician. You can also contact the customer care unit of your sewing machine.
SIRUBA sewing machine error code E17 (safety switch at wrong position)
Cause of error:
The error code E17 is displayed when the sewing table safety switch of your machine is present in an incorrect position.
Solution:
Remove the power supply of your sewing machine.
Check if the machine head switch is damaged or not.
Check if the machine head switch is open or not.
